The role exists to be responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment to produce bulk products (creams, liquids & ointments), in alignment with local procedures. They must ensure that they meet the expected quality standards and deadlines, while ensuing high levels of Health & Safety and maintained throughout.

To set and maintain a high standard of work, communication, and consideration for fellow workers across shifts.

To provide support to the Senior Process Worker on a daily basis to perform tasks required to meet the production targets in the most efficient and timely manner.

To provide coaching and advice to other Process Workers leading to continually improving efficiency, standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), safety and quality.

To contribute to the efficient and effective production / Manufacture of Finished Licensed and Special products in accordance with written procedures (Work Orders/Departmental Instructions/SOPs) and cGMP through the application of job specific and personal skills in a safe and timely manner to achieve the planned production targets.

To ensure that the recording of tasks and events on work orders and associated in-process documentation is carried out in real time and accurately.

To ensure that the manufacturing department is maintained to the level of cleanliness and tidiness required under cGMP and that set by the company and its representatives.

To perform ancillary tasks associated with the operation of the manufacturing department, including cleaning and disinfection, tanker offloading, equipment calibration and maintenance and warehouse activities.

To assist with the training of other Process Workers in order to develop their skills to a level of competency which will allow them to carry out allocated tasks with the minimum of supervision.

To ensure safe operations within all areas of work. If unsafe activity is observed outside your area of work, you have a duty to stop the unsafe activity and report it to the line management for that area.

To ensure compliance with cGMP within all areas of work. If poor cGMP is observed outside your area of immediate work area you have a duty to stop the activity and report it to the line management for that area.

To maintain a level of personal fitness to be able to perform processing activities.

To maintain a level of personal hygiene that complies with cGMP and company requirements.

To be responsible for the accurate, maintenance and timely completion of personal documentation such as labor records and training files.

Supports continuous improvement projects across the company and contribute wherever possible in a positive and constructive manner.

To perform any other ancillary tasks allocated by line management.
