The role exists to be responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment to produce bulk products (creams, liquids & ointments), in alignment with local procedures. They must ensure that they meet the expected quality standards and deadlines, while ensuing high levels of Health & Safety and maintained throughout.   

• To set and maintain a high standard of work, communication, and consideration for fellow workers across shifts. 

• To provide support to the Senior Process Worker on a daily basis to perform tasks required to meet the production targets in the most efficient and timely manner. 

• To provide coaching and advice to other Process Workers leading to continually improving efficiency, standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), safety and quality. 

• To contribute to the efficient and effective production / Manufacture of Finished Licensed and Special products in accordance with written procedures (Work Orders/Departmental Instructions/SOPs) and cGMP through the application of job specific and personal skills in a safe and timely manner to achieve the planned production targets. 

• To ensure that the recording of tasks and events on work orders and associated in-process documentation is carried out in real time and accurately. 

• To ensure that the manufacturing department is maintained to the level of cleanliness and tidiness required under cGMP and that set by the company and its representatives. 

• To perform ancillary tasks associated with the operation of the manufacturing department, including cleaning and disinfection, tanker offloading, equipment calibration and maintenance and warehouse activities. 

• To assist with the training of other Process Workers in order to develop their skills to a level of competency which will allow them to carry out allocated tasks with the minimum of supervision. 

• To ensure safe operations within all areas of work.   If unsafe activity is observed outside your area of work, you have a duty to stop the unsafe activity and report it to the line management for that area. 

• To ensure compliance with cGMP within all areas of work. If poor cGMP is observed outside your area of immediate work area you have a duty to stop the activity and report it to the line management for that area.  

• To maintain a level of personal fitness to be able to perform processing activities. 

• To maintain a level of personal hygiene that complies with cGMP and company requirements. 

• To be responsible for the accurate, maintenance and timely completion of personal documentation such as labor records and training files. 

• Supports continuous improvement projects across the company and contribute wherever possible in a positive and constructive manner. 

• To perform any other ancillary tasks allocated by line management.
