About the Role:

 

We are seeking a dynamic individual possessing a blend of project management prowess, operational expertise and pharmaceutical industry insight to spearhead the launch of generic & specialty products into the market. As the Operational Launch Project Manager, you will oversee the entire launch process, from initial planning stages to post-launch evaluations, ensuring seamless and regulatory compliance and will be responsible for the delivery of physical product to the market according to operational and desired commercial timelines.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who has had extensive project management exposure in the pharma sector and wants to broaden their knowledge and contribute to the success of generics and specialty drug launches in a fast-paced NPD environment.  

 

On a day-to-day basis you will:

 

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute launch plans for generic & specialty products, defining project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely product launches.
  • Collaborate effectively with numerous internal local and global functions such as regulatory affairs, Artwork teams, quality assurance and supply chain as well as external partners like CDMOs to achieve objectives and ensure adequate product availability for launch.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory & GMP/GDP requirements for generic & specialty drug launches in relevant markets.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track launch performance and evaluate post launch success metrics.

  • Proven track record of launching pharmaceutical drugs into the UK market with a strong understanding of operational & regulatory requirements and processes related to generic drug & Specialty launches.
  • A seasoned Project Manager with strong commercial acumen and a sound understanding of the business functions with regard to the delivery of NPD, including operating with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Ideally a degree in pharmaceutical sciences, business administration, or a related field.
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills and able to build effective working relationships with third party suppliers, factory teams, brand teams and commercial teams.
