About the Role:

 

Joining us as a Marketing Apprentice means you get an opportunity to take on responsibility from day one in a specific role and deliver against business objectives, with the view to a permanent role at the end of the 2 year programme and successful completion of the apprenticeship. The role has a wide and varied remit and is intended to be a starting point for career progression into Brand Marketing and Product Management and involves assisting the day-to-day activities of the international Consumer Marketing team in dermatology. The successful candidate will gain exposure to commercial and marketing aspects of our consumer and pharmacy brands.

 

The overall task is to assist the Senior International Category Manager to ensure key brand and wider business objectives are met, and to be an effective liaison point of contact between internal and external stakeholders including external customers, suppliers, advertising/PR agencies and international affiliates.

 

This role is specifically aimed at an A Level (or equivalent e.g. BTEC, T-Level) student who is passionate about Marketing/Business/Media and is looking for their first step on their career ladder in a Marketing function. Alongside your role, you will undertake a Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship to achieve your qualification through a mixture of on-site and academic learning.

  • Educated to at least A-Level standard by Summer 2024 (or equivalent), with ideally passes at Grade C or above in English/Mathematics/Business subjects and an interest in developing a long-term career in Marketing.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Creative flair.
  • Good IT skills - ability to use or quickly learn Microsoft Office packages including Work, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, in person, by telephone and in email.
  • Strong time management & organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • A passionate self-starter who has the ability to work unsupervised taking own initiative when required.
  • A problem-solver.
  • A driving licence is not essential but would be highly desirable
