STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Logistics Coordinator

As one of our Logistics Coordinators, you are responsible for ensuring Finished Goods stock is managed effectively from receipt at the 3rd Party Warehouse and to Customers Distribution. Key to the role is ensuring the continuous accuracy and integrity of inventory by daily reconciling stock between the Thornton and Ross SAP system and the 3PL warehouse, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to prevent repeat issues.
Ideally, you will have a good awareness and understanding of GDP in relation to Warehousing and Distribution to ensure correct storage and transportation conditions and documentation requirements are met. It is also imperative to develop outstanding relationships with internal stakeholders, such as the Business Hubs, STADA Affiliates, Supply Chain, Customer Services, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Stock Monitoring and Reconciliation: Continuously monitor stock transactions via the Stock Recon Report and Idoc tracker. Quickly and efficiently resolve any anomalies. Perform root cause analysis of stock reports to introduce preventative actions to minimize repeated issues.
- Shelf-Life Management: Monitor the Shelf-Life profile of FG inventory. Provide a monthly report to the business. Work cross-functionally to mitigate business risk.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding delivery schedules, inbound logistic plans, and issues affecting inbound supply and release (e.g., QA, 3rd Party CMO Supply Planners, Supply Chain). Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding delivery schedules, outbound logistic plans, and issues affecting timely supply to customers.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Work with the quality team to ensure freight forwarders and 3PL partners are GDP compliant. Support excellent customer service to all customers and internal stakeholders, including STADA affiliates, distributors, and agents.
- Procurement and Organization: Raise Purchase Orders (POs) through the Ariba/Cora system. Organize and prioritize workload to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Service Level Improvement: Deliver improvements in service levels annually in line with business targets. Ensure key business processes are executed and supported to a high standard and are continuously challenged and improved.
What We Are Looking For
- A good foundation of logistics experience ideally in the FMCG and\or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Experience of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- A good understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills and able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of inventory management and reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst manage your own workload, adhering to project timelines and perform critical thinking.
