STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Supply Chain Degree Apprentice
Huddersfield | U.K. | Full-time | Fixed-Term 52 Months
In this newly created role, our Supply Chain Degree Apprentice will support our Consumer Health Care Marketing and Sales functions. The role will be varied and involve contributing to and leading on projects, rotating into specific roles to support the needs of the business and gaining a wide range of experience across supply chain in a global business.
This role is specifically aimed at school/college leavers who are looking to develop a career in supply chain within a large global organisation. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain valuable industry experience, whilst also undertaking a 4-year Degree Apprenticeship with Leeds Trinity University, starting in September 2025.
Key topics covered as part of the Degree Apprenticeship include: Supply chain and network design, capacity planning, forecasting and procurement, inventory and warehouse management, supply chain technology, regulatory environments, effective people management and leadership in supply chain as well as supply chain strategy and finance. Throughout the entirety of the degree apprenticeship, you’ll gain relevant, practical, on-the-job experience in a dynamic marketing and sales environment, to support you in gaining a BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Supply Chain qualification.
How You Will Make an Impact
On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing functions.
- Working with supply chain functions.
- Reporting & Analysing data to drive business decisions.
- Developing strong working relationships with internal & external manufacturing sites.
- Lead supply chain projects to drive improvements.
- Deploy ways of working to enhance key supply chain metrics e.g. Forecast Accuracy, inventory reduction, lead time improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- Educated to at least GCSE standard with GCSE passes at Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Maths.
- Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset, through being proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders in person, by phone, chat messaging and email.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Attention to detail and creativity.
- Good IT skills with a proven ability to use Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
