STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Commercial Finance Controller (Consumer Healthcare)

Join the STADA Thornton & Ross FP&A team as our Commercial Finance Controller supporting our consumer healthcare division, working with some of the UK’s most trusted brands such as brands such as Covonia®, Savlon®, Hedrin®, Nizoral®, Cetraben® and Zoflora®.
This role specifically supports the business as it embraces technological developments to enhance reporting, planning tools & insight whilst supporting the Commercial & Supply Chain functions to drive Commercial Excellence to improve long term performance.

How You Will Make an Impact
Our finance team plays an integral role in supporting & challenging business performance, on a daily basis the focus of this role will be:
Forecasting & Budgeting:
- Own the Hub planning cycle and strategic planning process including the organizing of reviews, challenging and presenting of outputs.
- Support the commercial budget/forecast, delivering on time with appropriate analysis, insight & benchmark comparisons.
- Support and develop the longer-term planning process to the ultimate goal of a three year plan.
Reporting & Business Partnering
- Roll out periodic insight packs and reports with appropriate commentary.
- Ensure reports are robust, accurate and delivered on time and lead periodic reviews with key stakeholders.
- Where possible automate reports and host in a BI tool to create self-service working with the FP&A Controller.
- Ensure Gross to Net is reported and controlled on the balance sheet.
- Establish strong relationships with Marketing, Sales & Supply Chain teams, providing appropriate support to assist in decision making.
- Support team in developing relationships with Insights team, procurement & central functions ensuring appropriate support is provided.
- Work alongside NRM manager to ensure promotions are effective and efficient.
Process Owner
- Lead the Hub S&OP process for the CHC business and all reporting, engagement reporting and comms.
- Business partner with the head of Logistics and monitor cost control
- Complete exec S&OP deck with supporting commentary.
- Own the Finance element of NPL and EGM, providing appropriate Support and identifying effective opportunities that create meaningful change.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner/Controller or similar role within medium-large commercial organisations, preferably within Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
- Professionally qualified through CIMA or ACCA.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and quickly develop rapport with others.
- Experience in managing internal stakeholder expectations particularly during periods of high-volume work.
- Robust organizational and project management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- A champion of ethics who promotes integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism consistently.
