About the role:
This role is responsible for management of CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organisation) suppliers within our Consumer Healthcare division. You will ensure the smooth running of the category, analysing spend and processes to identify cost saving opportunities and will be the escalation point for supply or performance issues within your category. On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate, support and provide full engagement in the sourcing, negotiations of contractual terms and set up of relationships in line with STADA procurement best practices
- Support strategic relationship management and act as escalation point for all supplier interactions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage risk and support growth plans on both new and existing products.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and improvements which will generate value for the company.

- A strong track record of procurement experience preferably gained within FMCG/pharma/retail/highly regulated sectors ideally with exposure to working with CMO.
- CIPS/MCIPS advantageous but not essential.
- Well developed communication and influencing skills with proven capability of price & contract negotiation and supplier relationship management with a strong focus on proactive buying practices and effective forecasting.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment which is consumer trend/NPD led.
- Experience of SAP and E-Procurement systems and solid Excel skills e.g. pivot tables.
- Strong advocate of sustainability, sourcing ethics and diversity in line with company purpose
