We are currently searching for an experienced buyer to join our newly created External Supply Organisation Team (ESO) to be responsible for managing our CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organisation) suppliers. Working with our large Consumer Healthcare brands such as Zoflora, as well as with our Rx and Gx brands, the role offers a great opportunity to thrive within our fast-growing and regulated pharmaceutical organisation.

Bringing well developed experience from large-scale FMCG, Food, Chemicals or another Pharmaceutical organisation, this role will allow you to demonstrate your skills in the smooth running of the category, analysing spend and processes to identify cost saving opportunities and will be the escalation point for supply or performance issues within your category.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Category Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies and improvements which will generate value for the company.

• Contract Ownership: Coordinate, support and provide full engagement in the sourcing, negotiations of contractual terms and set up of relationships in line with STADA procurement best practices.
• Business Growth: Working with pace and agility, you will provide procurement expertise and support to our new and exciting product launches.
• Influencing: Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage risk and support growth plans on both new and existing products.
• Relationship Management: build and maintain excellent working relationships with the wider procurement team and act as an escalation point for all supplier interactions.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven buying experience in either FMCG, Food & Drinks, Chemical or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Expertise in driving growth and delivering strong results through supplier management.
• An expert negotiator with the ability to identify and win incremental profitable opportunities for the organization.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
• Robust organizational and project management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
• A champion of ethics who promotes integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism consistently.
