Our Corporate IT named GIS (Global Information Services) is orchestrating the digital transformation to enable the ambitious growth plans of all countries and functions across STADA. They provide a secure, smart and scalable platform-oriented and cloud-based architecture with a strong operational excellence focusing on creating direct and indirect business value.


We are looking for a Global IT Project-Portfolio Manager, being responsible for the IT demand and project portfolio processes and to build the bridge between our internal stakeholders and external partners at STADA Group worldwide.

You can expect exciting tasks, a global IT project portfolio in an international environment, with the aim of renewing and harmonizing processes in the IT project portfolio domain of the STADA Group

Your responsibilities will include:

You will be the primary responsible for the IT demand and project portfolio processes, especially be in charge of the mid and short planning, management and control of the project portfolio in line with the corporate strategy.


  • You will be the interface to the business units in order to understand the business issues and their roadmaps, collect and understand the demands, validate and evaluate project proposals and business cases
  • You will support the conception and introduction of a rolling demand process
  • You will support team leads and project managers in solving resource conflicts
  • You will strong interact with the project management team and project managers in order to collect and understand, interdependencies, the status of the projects and of the overall portfolio,
  • You will be responsible for the administration of the portfolio, will monitor and control projects by preparing regular analysis, key project performance indicators and qualitative aspects.
  • You will support the preparation, execution and control of the project portfolio governance board and other management boards
  • You will provide appropriate reporting’s, ad hoc as well as on regular basis
  • You will drive the development of methods and implementation of new tools, dashboard, KPIs etc. in order to improve the overall demand and project portfolio processes


Your qualifications:

  • You have a Master/Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline
  • You can demonstrate in addition to the above, at least one, ideally two, years’ experience in the field of PMO and/or project and portfolio analysis, including the analysis of business cases and project performance parameters.
  • You are experienced in evaluating project proposals and business cases that facilitate planning, monitoring and controlling projects and investments
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and with distributed teams
  • You are experienced in developing automation solutions for data quality and evaluation within short timeframes is a plus.
  • You have a sound understanding of the principles and frameworks governing successful project management in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • You have excellent organizational skills, team player with bias for action and a strong work ethic
  • You are a self-Starter with high analytical, problem-solving, planning, execution, as well as presentation and communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and driver of Innovation in your area of responsibility
  • You can demonstrate a very good strategic, solution and cost-oriented thinking
  • You consider yourself a great communicator, being fluent in English (German is a plus)
