About the job:
In the role of Global IT Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing budget management, cost analysis, financial reporting, investment evaluation, ROI analysis, cross-functional collaboration, cost allocation, compliance assurance, and providing training and consultation on IT financial matters.
Professional Tasks
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage IT budgets, ensuring accurate allocation of financial resources and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of IT expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and proposing strategies for optimization.
- Financial Reporting: Generate comprehensive financial reports on IT spending, tracking budget adherence, and providing insightful forecasts.
- Investment Evaluation: Assess financial implications and benefits of IT projects, offering recommendations to support i decision-making.
- ROI Analysis: Measure and analyze returns on IT investments, contributing to strategic adjustments and improvements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT management and finance departments, to align financial goals.
- Cost Allocation: Allocate IT costs accurately across affiliates, enhancing transparency
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulations and policies related to IT budgets and expenses.
- Training and Consultation: Provide guidance and training to IT and leadership teams on IT financial matters, fostering a deeper understanding of financial implications.
Your qualifications:
- You have a Master/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in IT financial management, cost analysis, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance.
- You have excellent organizational skills, team player with bias for action and a strong work ethic
- You are self-starter with high analytical, problem-solving, planning, execution, as well as presentation and communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and driver of Innovation in your area of responsibility
- Knowledge of IT project management is a plus.
- You consider yourself a great communicator, being fluent in English (German is a plus)
