As a Financial Analyst for Global Technical Operations, you will play a vital role in analyzing product costs and emerging trends that inform strategic planning. You will support the preparation of annual budgets, assist with intercompany pricing compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

COGS Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of deviations versus budget and forecast for product costs, write-offs, and other costs within the area of Global Technical Operations
  • Identify key drivers and trends affecting COGS and provide actionable insights, as well as outlooks for the future.
  • Ensure accurate management reporting -by collaborating closely with local finance teams-  focusing on the clear separation of commercial and operational drivers, to support strategic decision making.
  • Develop and enhance dashboard solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A processes.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create insightful reports that support operational and financial analysis.

 

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to Cost of goods sold and technical operations in general

 

Intercompany Pricing Support:

  • Assist in the intercompany pricing process to ensure compliance and alignment with global pricing strategies.
  • Analyze pricing models and provide recommendations for process improvements.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with finance, Tech Ops teams, and other cross-functional teams to align financial and operational strategies.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests from management and other stakeholders.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A or related field, focus on COGS and technical operations as an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and tools (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English, another language beneficial
