Compliance Expert - Third Party Due Diligence

About the Job:
Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a motivated Compliance Expert - Third Party Due Diligence. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence checks on third-party business partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Your work will involve assessing potential risks, identifying red flags, and providing recommendations to mitigate compliance risks associated with these relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new and existing third-party business partners, including reviewing financial, legal, and public records, and identifying potential compliance risks such as anti-bribery, corruption, and sanctions
  • Assess and mitigate risks by evaluating and categorizing the risk profile of third-party partners, recommending appropriate mitigation measures, and maintaining accurate risk assessment records
  • Monitor ongoing compliance of third-party activities through periodic reviews and audits, reporting any compliance breaches or red flags to senior management
  • Document and report findings by preparing detailed due diligence reports and risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records of all related activities
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs on third-party due diligence and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Legal, Procurement, Finance departments, and external due diligence service provide

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related are
  • Fluent in English is a must; other languages (e.g., German or Romanian) would be beneficial
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
  • Effective communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a tea
