JOB SUMMARY
This position has responsibilities to create the marketing and sales strategy of the CHC products to help the company to reach the sales goals. Help in to create and implement the marketing strategy of each Product, support on the preparation of marketing plans to reach the sales goals of the products, help plan and implement product launches in collaboration with other departments. . Has a strong responsibility to comply with the laws and regulations of the pharmaceutical industry, the best industry practices and ethical rules applicable for the promotion of medicines and other pharmaceutical products.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide strong leadership for sales and marketing teams to ensure the achievement of sales targets and expense control
- Responsible for the CHC business unit’s P&L
- Creating marketing and sales strategy and defining marketing plans,
- Develops business plans and quarterly and yearly budgets with clear revenue and profit targets and updates them on a regular basis inclusive of board grade presentations.
- Creating, implementing and follow up the timetable for actions in marketing specify to each product;
- Set up KPIs to appraise staff’s performance
- Set up and manage customer’s profile, develop potential customers
- Looking for potential principals to widen business activities
- Contact, cooperate, and promoting the image of the Company with Key Opinion Leaders, in line with generally adopted strategy in the concerned area
- Monitoring the competition.
- Monitoring the pharmaceutical market and identify the need of a new product from the portfolio of STADA
- Creating, implementing and follow up the launch plans for new products.
- Monitor and report on all important information in the market concerning our consumers, products, market trends, competition by paying regular visits to points of sale, together with a medical-sales representative
- Prepare and update all reports related to marketing activities at quarterly and annual level, monitors distribution of products and product supply from his/her therapeutic group.
- Initiate introduction of new products, is familiar with products and prepares information for management so that the decision on launching and promotion plans could be made
- Present new products to sales team and provides marketing strategy for the relevant product, aiming at preparation of the required steps for sales of products.
- Lead the product manager to initiate and prepare marketing materials in line with the company’s standards, responsible for adequate contacts with the holders of professional/medical and pharmaceutical practice
- Perform all of its duties in strict compliance with the Policies of the Company and the applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure effective allocation for material plan implementation of resources.
- Manage the inventory in accordance with agreed plans and policy.
- Reports directly to the General Manager
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 5 year of experience in pharmaceutical marketing
- Decree in the qualifications set forth in the applicable laws for pharmaceutical position
- Experience in sales is an advantage
- Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- English knowledge is a must
Other requirement (i.e. travel)
Extensive travel within the country and other European countries
