About your role

As Medical Advisor, you are responsible for the development and implementation of the medical strategy of the Specialty Care portfolio. This product portfolio spreads among different therapeutic areas, of which the most important will be neurology and nephrology.

In your role, you will support the Specialty Care team on the scientific and medical level. You are responsible for scientific information and medical training, medical questions and establishing a network within the respective medical community. You will be part of the Brand Team to develop the long-term strategic plan.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop the knowledge of the therapeutic areas of the products in focus. You follow the literature and market development of your therapeutic domains.
  • Identify and develop long-term partnerships with selected Key Opinion Leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide medical & scientific expertise to all functions to ensure the commercial development and optimal positioning of our products:
    • share customer insights with internal stakeholders
    • educate salesteam by providing in-depth information on the therapeutic area and product.

           This in both national languages, considering all ethical & technical specifications of our products.

  • Provide both healthcare professionals as internal contacts with accurate & timely answers to requests for information on our products.
  • Regular KOL visits when required.

               

Required profile

  • Experience of min 3 years in pharma medical affairs
  • You have excellent communication skills and can communicate information in a clear manner
  • Action and result oriented
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Pro-active and team player
  • Experience in neurology, rheumatology and/or gastro-enterology is a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of Dutch,  French & English
