Are you looking to play a key strategic role in accelerating STADA’s pipeline through impactful patent activities? Do you thrive in a dynamic, globally operating IP team and want to take ownership of complex litigation cases? Join our global Intellectual Property Team and support us as a Senior Patent Manager - Litigation (f/m/d).
What You Can Expect

You will take the lead in handling patent-related support for new product launches and lifecycle management of existing products, making independent strategic decisions.

You will proactively manage and respond to validity inquiries, cease-and-desist letters, and other legal challenges from rights holders.

You will spearhead the coordination of nullity, cancellation, and European opposition proceedings, working closely with external patent attorneys to challenge third-party technical rights.

In patent infringement lawsuits and interim injunction proceedings, you will lead the defense strategy and collaborate with external counsel to safeguard STADA’s interests.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing risk assessments and strategic guidance on market launches involving patent-related risks.

You will negotiate and manage settlement and licensing agreements with a strong commercial and legal perspective.

You will develop and implement sophisticated defense strategies as well as proactively shape patent strategies for critical product launches.
Who We Are Looking For

A degree in chemistry or pharmacy is required.

You are a qualified patent attorney or patent assessor with a strong track record in patent litigation.

Ideally, you have passed the European Qualifying Examination (EQE) or possess comparable expertise.

You bring extensive experience in European and German patent law, particularly in litigation and contentious matters.

You have demonstrated expertise in managing complex patent disputes and can independently drive litigation strategies.

Previous experience in the patent department of an industrial company or a top-tier law firm is highly desirable.

Your working style is meticulous, independent, and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility.

You possess exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, enabling you to make sound, business-oriented decisions.

Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential; German proficiency is an advantage.
