Senior Manager - Internal Investigation (f/m/d)

What You Can Expect

 

  • As the Senior Manager - Internal Investigation, you will be responsible for leading and managing internal investigations within the STADA Group. You will operate under the direction of the Head of Compliance Program and Internal Investigation
  • You will conduct the initial assessment and triage of incoming reports in STADA's global whistleblower program to determine their urgency and direct them to the appropriate departments
  • You will coordinate and oversee investigations into compliance violations and ethical misconduct. Additionally, you will independently conduct selected internal investigations based on the theme and relevance of the cases
  • Your responsibilities include documenting and reporting investigation results as well as preparing and presenting reports to senior management. You will also monitor the company's internal whistleblower system and collaborate closely with various stakeholders within and outside of compliance, supporting and overseeing the documentation of cases
  • You will develop and implement training programs for employees to raise awareness of the whistleblower system. Furthermore, you will conduct training for relevant employees on how to carry out internal investigations
  • You are responsible for maintaining and further developing internal policies, governance frameworks, and processes for conducting internal investigations. You will define standards and best practices for internal investigations
  • Your responsibilities also include analyzing KPIs and trends related to incoming reports and recommending preventive measures to mitigate risks

Who we are looking for

 

  • You possess a degree in Law, Business Administration, or a similar field
  • You have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in conducting internal investigations, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry, another regulated environment, or a forensic, risk, or investigation service firm
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) are advantageous
  • You have independently conducted complex investigations or led parts of investigations and are familiar with various investigative methods, including interviewing witnesses and suspects as well as identifying and analyzing investigatory-relevant data. (IT) forensic experience is a plus
  • You have experience in evaluating and prioritizing reports based on various criteria (triage)
  • You possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management. You have experience building trustful relationships in conversations. You also excel in conflict-heavy situations
  • You are detail-oriented and capable of working accurately and on time under pressure
  • You have strong expertise in developing and implementing remediation and risk mitigation measures in multicultural environments
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Fluent English and German are required; additional language skills are an advantage
