International CHC Category Manager (f/m/d)   

Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Fix-term 


As part of the international marketing team you will drive our rapidly growing Consumer Health business by guiding and supporting affiliates strategically to grow our local hero brands with winning marketing assets, competitive line extensions and synergetic high-impact initiatives.


Start date: November 2023 (temporary for 12 months/parental leave replacement)


What you can expect


  • You will develop the category’s growth strategy, define focus brands and white spots 
  • You will create global brand plans incl. the portfolio and communication strategy to ensure sustainable growth, also via best-practice sharing
  • You will define launch- and go to market strategies incl. providing 360° marketing toolboxes, targeting both consumer and health care professionals
  • You will drive innovations and roll outs to, looking for new ideas and opportunities with close cooperation with Portfolio management, Medical and Regulatory departments
  • You will leverage synergies and growth potential via product roll outs and portfolio harmonisation across markets, conduct permanent market reviews including trend analyses
  • You will collaborate closely with lead markets, external creative agencies as well as internal STADA stakeholders such as portfolio management, product development and market research 



Who we are looking for


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Category Manager to join our international team, i.a. to manage our GASTRO portfolio. The role is situated in Germany at STADA Headquarters.


  • You have a university degree in business studies/applied economics with a focus on marketing or corresponding practice-oriented experience within the Consumer Health industry 
  • You have ideally more than 3 years of professional experience in the field of international brand/category management, ideally within the Gastro/Digestive health category (experience in other categories welcome)
  • You have a strong consumer, trade and business insights understanding
  • You can demonstrate experience in concept development and digital marketing 
  • You have excellent cross-functional project management and organisational skills
  • You have a sound knowledge of regulatory and legal framework of OTC medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements
  • You have excellent English language skills (German and other language skills welcome)
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a growth mindset paired with a high sense of responsibility, reliability as well as outstanding communication skills
