Head of Finance Global Alliance & Integration Management (f/m/d)

The Head of Finance / Finance Business Partner – Global Alliance Management and Integration (GAIM) plays a pivotal role within STADA. This position is responsible for overseeing financial aspects of strategic partnerships, commercial alliances, and the integration of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The role demands a blend of financial acumen, strategic insight, and collaborative skills to ensure that financial objectives align with the broader business goals during the integration of new assets and companies as well as the management of existing partnerships.

 

What you can expect:

 

  • As part of the core GAIM team, you will lead and participate in regular Alliance Steering Committees, drive P&L value across the relevant country perimeter and lead and participate in identifying and implementing new opportunities and deals
  • For our partner commercialization deals, you will lead the financial workstreams (e.g. annual performance/bonus calculations, performance vs. market)
  • You will participate in and lead contract negotiations, e.g. extension of current deals & amendments
  • For our M&A integrations, you will align on the business case with the M&A team and countries and lead financial workstreams
  • In terms of reporting, you will lead all internal and external reporting, e.g. supervisory board, partner reporting, market performance

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • You have a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent is highly desirable
  • 5 -10 years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in alliance management and M&A integration
  • You possess profound understanding of financial principles, M&A processes, and the pharmaceutical industry landscape across all of STADA’s business segments (CHC, Gx, Sx)
  • You have excellent analytical & strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • You are a strong communicator and possess high interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to negotiate and influence stakeholders
  • You are proficient in financial modeling and analysis software (e.g. PowerBI)
  • You have a fluent command in English, German is a plus
