Global IT Project Manager (f/m/d)

What you can expect


  • Taking overall responsibility on IT projects in terms of time, budget and quality targets
  • Have experience in managing IT projects – classic or agile
  • Control the projects in all phases from initialization to handover into operations
  • Regular reporting to the Portfolio Management and to the Steering Committee
  • Methodical leadership, guidance and motivation of the project staff
  • Experience in Program- / Project management with focus on SAP (e.g. for SAP rollouts, SAP APO, Ariba, merger, etc.) or nonSAP projects (e.g. RIMS, LIMS, DMS-Systems, Analytics, IT Security, Cloud migrations) in an international environment
  • Execute all standard PM tasks: Resource planning (internal and external), managing budget, managing scope
  • Steering and controlling of external IT providers in the course of assigned projects
  • Work in accordance with IT Project Management guidelines and actively improve and develop them
  • Review program / project proposals or plans to determine time frame, scope, staffing and procedures for future projects


Who we are looking for


  • University degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus
  • Minimum 5 years of proven IT project management experience either in the SAP environment (SAP launches/implementations, SAP rollouts, upgrades, integration projects, e.g. after acquisitions, etc.), or in comparable non-SAP projects
  • Certification Prince2, PMI, SCRUM etc. is a plus
  • Experience in international environment and with complex projects
  • Profound know-how of different business processes (e.g. Logistics in general, Sales, Production, Materials Management, Quality Management, FI/CO also welcome)
  • Adequate knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry in the context of IT
  • Deeper experience in one of the main project areas - SAP or nonSAP know-how (e.g. RIMS, LIMS, DMS-Systems, Infrastructure, Cloud Migration)
  • Experience in managing and contracting external vendors
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent language skills in English (German is a plus)
