M&A plays an integral crucial role in STADA’s strategy and strongly contributes to our growth. With a series of highly visible acquisitions, we have been the #1 CHC dealmaker – no other company has done more acquisitions in consumer healthcare in Europe between 2018-2023 than us. With an exceptional track record of successful and value-generating acquisitions, we are looking to expand our team for the next phase of inorganic growth.

In this role, you will get exposure to all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry and work closely with our Senior Management whilst enjoying a high degree of autonomy and act as an entrepreneur within our organization.

 
What you can expect

 

  • You will assess companies and products incl. prioritizing opportunities that are aligned with the company’s strategy
  • You will (depending on experience) support or lead project workstreams of international M&A projects:
    • Deal sourcing
    • Manage due diligence processes, incl. coordination of all involved stakeholders (STADA workstreams and international sales organizations) 
    • Financial analysis and modelling
    • Final evaluation of M&A opportunities with respective recommendation to Management Board incl. board papers
    • Contract negotiations 
    • Integration of acquired companies/products into the STADA Group with a focus on driving growth and synergies from day 1

 

Who we are looking for 

 

  • You have a university degree 
  • You have at least 2-3 years’ experience in consultancy, investment banking, corporate finance and/or the pharmaceutical industry 
  • You ideally have first experience in:
    • Analysis of market data and identifying growth potential for pharmaceutical / consumer healthcare products 
    • M&A: Share and/or asset deals
    • Coordination of larger and complex projects
    • Negotiations in international context
  • You have excellent analytical, financial and conceptual skills combined with an entrepreneurial mentality and a growth mindset 
  • You have an affinity for contractual / legal matters
  • You are resilient and enjoy multi-project management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You are willing to travel on projects basis within Europe and abroad #LI-MK1  #LI-Hybrid
