Associate Director/Director Corporate Development/M&A (f/m/d) 



Key Tasks

M&A Projects

  • Own development of feasibility studies and business plans
  • Evaluation of companies and information memorandums incl. preselection of targets for discussion sales organization
  • Assessment of companies and products incl. prioritizing opportunities in alignment with the Group’s strategy
  • Lead and responsibility for international M&A projects and teams (from first screening, through DD, negotiations all the way to integration) – often spanning various territories
  • Coordination of all involved STADA work streams (Finance &Tax, Legal, Commercial, HR, Compliance, QA/QC, RA/MA/CA, Production, Supply, IP, IT etc.) in due diligence phases, negotiation and PMI
  • Final evaluation of M&A opportunities with respective recommendation to Management Board
  • Drafting of board papers and presentations
  • Lead in contract negotiations (together with legal department and sales organizations)



  • University degree within top 20% of the class
  • Minimum of seven years professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy and/or corporate finance; at least minimum of three years experience in Pharma M&A incl. lead of projects
  • English language skills at negotiation level (other language skills are welcome)
  • Profound skills in MS-Office
  • Excellent team working skills
  • High analytical and conceptual skills combined with entrepreneurial mentality
  • High affinity for legal matters incl. knowledge of various jurisdictions
  • Experience with negotiations in international context
  • High resilience and ability for multi-project management
  • Willingness to travel on projects basis within Europe and abroad
