Microbiology Lab Analyst

Job Profile:

 

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Working Instructions, and Validation Protocols for Testing Methods.
  • Execute analyses following approved methods and protocols for method transfer, validation, and finished goods assessment, including purified/city water and environmental monitoring.
  • Receive, document, and prepare samples for analysis, ensuring accurate recording and tracking throughout the process.
  • Conduct microbiological analysis on solid dosage oral forms, primary packaging materials, and environmental samples, interpreting and documenting results.
  • Prepare microbiological media, handle test cultures, and maintain inventory and calibration records for laboratory instruments.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or related field.
  • Fluent in local language and proficient in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a microbiological/quality control laboratory, preferably in the pharmaceutical or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with GMP guidelines and adherence to procedures and instructions.
  • Experience working with various laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and management.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
